Ice storm
We had an ice storm in December. one month later, we are still picking branches out of our yard. We had about 2 tons of branches hit the ground. I have spent 6 hours to date cleaning my yard and have went through one set of tree trimmers. Check out the piles in the front yard. We have about 200 pounds of small pieces of firewood for next summer and beyond. See this tree. It looks like an F2 tornado hit it.
I am a Christian husband of a beautiful wife, Angie, and father of four children (Mark, 7, Alexis 6, Hannah, 3, and Ethan, 1). I am part of the Church of Christ, a non-denominational, Bible-only church. I work at a regional council of governments office, serving southern Iowa communities. I, and my family, are active in the community and our church. We love to do things outdoors, like fishing, camping, and hiking, and hope to someday own a boat. In addition to my family and God, I love pizza, Sim City, astronomy, fishing, and life. I dabble in politics, history, and pretending to know things. I fit the description of the Athenians in the Bible: I love to talk about new things, often of which I don't really know what I am talking about. I am old enough to vote (sorry). I don't drink, cuss, smoke, or make sense to most people.
