- I am a Christian husband of a beautiful wife, Angie, and father of four children (Mark, 7, Alexis 6, Hannah, 3, and Ethan, 1). I am part of the Church of Christ, a non-denominational, Bible-only church. I work at a regional council of governments office, serving southern Iowa communities. I, and my family, are active in the community and our church. We love to do things outdoors, like fishing, camping, and hiking, and hope to someday own a boat. In addition to my family and God, I love pizza, Sim City, astronomy, fishing, and life. I dabble in politics, history, and pretending to know things. I fit the description of the Athenians in the Bible: I love to talk about new things, often of which I don't really know what I am talking about. I am old enough to vote (sorry). I don't drink, cuss, smoke, or make sense to most people.

Time to start thinking about the next election. Who will win Congressional seats and Iowa's governor's race?
